Job Summary:
Greenville metal forming manufacturer that has been an area staple since 1947 is looking to add to their maintenance team. As a maintenance technician you will be responsible to
- · Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot continuous process machinery performing mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment such as motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, water systems, production machines and equipment in accordance with diagrams, specifications and operator’s manuals.
- Dismantles devices and machines to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, hand tools, power tools, and cranes.
- Performing necessary maintenance work, such as replacing pumps, motors, chains, sprockets, cables, repair or replace drives, troubleshoot PLC logic, fabricate and mount guards, troubleshoot and adjust hydraulics.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement process improvements.
- Troubleshoot PLC system and identify any issues.
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed.

Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay: $25-$30/Hour
Shift: 2nd shift (5-10 hour days)
Qualifications:
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electro-mechanical problems.
- Basic Knowledge of and ability to PLC troubleshoot.
- Knowledge and understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
- Knowledge in welding and fabrication techniques
- Experience with logic controllers and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Knowledge and experience using Lock Out Tag Out
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and to follow instructions with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Comfortable working in high heat environments
