Maintenance Technician - Malace HR

Malace|HR is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to work onsite at an automotive manufacturer in Georgetown, KY.

$18-23/hour based on skill set and testing.

• Thursday-Sunday, 6a-4:30p
• Saturday-Tuesday, 6a-4:30p

Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:

Perform work in repair, maintenance, service, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, inspection, and installation

Essential Skill Set Needed:

• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, basic metal working tools, understands difference between metric and standard threads, etc.
• Ability to fabricate guards, shields, stands, etc.
• Basic MIG and stick welding ability a plus.
• Basic understanding of Pneumatics and Hydraulics and potential hazards
• Engage with the customer as needed to complete work to expectations.
• Understand industrial grade of oils and grease, sealed vs. non sealed bearings, grease, oil and lube.
• Understand basic theories of troubleshooting
• Basic electrical theory
