Job Title: Maintenance/Painter
Payrate: $18.00 / hr 
Schedule: 6:00-am - 2:30-pm

Job Summary:

The Maintenance/Painter is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting, to ensure the upkeep and appearance of the facility. This role involves both general maintenance duties and specialized painting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Duties:

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Assist with minor carpentry tasks.

Painting Duties:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.
• Apply various paints and finishes, such as interior and exterior paints, stains, and varnishes.
• Match colors accurately and ensure a smooth, even finish.
• Maintain painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance or painting required.
• Strong mechanical and handyman skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.

Skills:

• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ability to use various tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills.
