Your day to day as a Maintenance Technician
As a Full-Time Maintenance Technician at EDEN Inc., you can expect a varied and fulfilling daily routine. Your typical workweek will run from Monday to Friday, with an on-call requirement to address urgent needs outside of regular hours. Start your day by responding to work orders, performing routine inspections, and conducting preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment. You will troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring timely repairs while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaboration with other team members is essential; expect to participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and improvement ideas. Documenting maintenance activities and maintaining accurate records will also be part of your responsibilities. Each day presents new challenges, and your role is pivotal in creating a safe, welcoming environment for everyone at EDEN Inc.
Would you be a great Maintenance Technician?
To thrive as a Full-Time Maintenance Technician at EDEN Inc., you'll need a solid foundation of skills and experience. A background in trade and/or technical school training is preferred, along with at least 2 years of relevant work experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic, or 3 years in a similar role to ensure you're well-equipped for the job's challenges. Your ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs will be essential for maintaining our facilities effectively. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you'll collaborate closely with team members to coordinate tasks and efficiently address maintenance requests. Familiarity with relevant software and tools will enhance your productivity in managing work orders and documenting repairs.
Additionally, a valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less, along with an operable vehicle and proof of insurance, is required to ensure you can travel to various locations as needed.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- A Maintenance Technician at EDEN Inc will need an adequate set of tools to perform daily job tasks.
- Trade and/or technical school training, paired with at least 2 years of relevant work experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic preferred.
- Or 3 years of relevant maintenance technician or mechanic work experience preferred.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and perform daily repairs to maintain and upkeep company facilities.
- Strong communication skills are essential to address maintenance related work orders efficiently.
- Valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less.
- Operable vehicle and proof of insurance.
- Must be able to work on call rotation.
