YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance on production equipment, facilities, and machinery to ensure maximum productivity and a safe work environment. Your duties include repairing CNC press brakes, CNC laser systems, welding equipment, air compressors, forklifts, motor controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics. You also conduct repairs following building, electrical, and safety codes, participate in team problem-solving, perform diagnostic tests on equipment, maintain a clean workplace, train machine operators, oversee projects, manage equipment records and spare parts, execute preventative maintenance programs, and coordinate with outside resources for repairs. You diligently carry out these tasks, often with minimal supervision, while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Here's what you need to become our Maintenance Technician:
- Passionate about learning and seeking continuous improvement
- Capable of working in hot and cold environments
- Ability to work off ladders and lifts
- 5+ years or more of industrial maintenance experience
- Current valid NC driver's license
- Ability to order and track spare part inventories
- Comfortability in taking on special projects and assisting the management team when needed
- Ability to perform routine safety inspections on plant equipment and facility systems
- Experience in manufacturing or military environment (preferred)
- Previous welding skills (preferred)
