We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our property remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all residents. This position requires a team player who can work collaboratively with others to meet the regular operational maintenance needs of the property. The successful Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers. You are part of the maintenance team, responsible to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment.

Amani at 1529 Sunnydale Avenue offers studio, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartment homes as part of the HOPE SF redevelopment project. The community has 80 total apartments. Amani is close to public transportation, served by SFMTA Buses (8 & 9 lines) and Muni (T line) that offer connections to multiple other lines. Amani is the gateway to a master planned community in a newly revitalized neighborhood featuring local businesses and services.
Pay: $26.00/hour

Duties:
- Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Cleans up after work is complete.
- Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
- Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
- Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Take direction from the supervisor.
- Read, write, do basic math, and follow instructions.
- Flexible to change work plans.
- Maintain a professional personal appearance.
- Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).
