Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Somis, United States. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities, equipment, and systems. This role requires a detail-oriented and hands-on approach to solving technical problems and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Affordable Housing Experience with CTCAC Audits
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, mechanical systems, and equipment
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders within designated timeframes
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues before they become problems
• Maintain and repair electrical systems, including replacing light fixtures, sockets, and circuit breaker panels
• Perform plumbing maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and energy efficiency
• Prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces as needed
• Maintain and repair locks, doors, and other building hardware
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment status
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruptions
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role
• High school diploma or equivalent
• In-depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Proficiency in using various tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
• Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality work
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• HVAC certification or other relevant technical certifications are a plus

Property: Somis Ranch Apartments ( 200 units) 

Pay: $25-$26 hourly 

Schedule: Monday - Friday ( 8am - 5pm)
