Maintenance Technician

Report to: Maintenance and Automation Manager

Job Requirements:

•Minimum 3 years of industrial electrician and mechanical experience, Preferably Metal Stamping,

Welding and Robotics. Journeyman's Card is preferred.

•An ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

•An ability to maintain good working relationships with peers, co-workers, and subordinates.

•A positive, team-oriented, "can-do" attitude.

•Good communication, math and reading skills.

•Strong Mechanical and Electrical skills.

Job Duties/Description:

•Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility.

•Documenting all completed work and the conditions found, utilizing maintenance computer software

as necessary.

•Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical,

hydraulic, and pneumatic components.

•Comprehending mechanical/electrical schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals

•Operating forklifts, Overhead Cranes, Scissor Lift, and Overhead Boom Lift.

•Installing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing various components and systems including

Mechanical Power Presses, hydraulic systems, belt conveyors, gear reducers, and bearings.

•Ability and Desire to participate in training, both internal and external. Able to learn new technology

and skills quickly.

•Knowledge of OSHA and National Electric Code requirements.

•Knowledge of electrical 480, 240, 120, 24 DC, single and 3-phase power, pneumatic, hydraulic

operation.

•Perform minor building plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as needed.

•Follow all prescribed safety regulations, i.e., PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection) etc.

•Communicate clearly and to the point with all team members.

•Keep area clean and organized in a 5S manner.
