Maintenance Supervisor - Habitat America

Habitat America, LLC, a top property management company in the DC Metro area is looking to hire a qualified Maintenance Supervisor in Olney, Maryland. Exciting renovations have just been completed at Willow Manor Fair Hill Farm, a thriving 101 unit senior apartment community! This community is located in the heart of Olney. This fast growing, property management company is largely based in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Applicants who are qualified for this position have 3+ years prior apartment maintenance experience. Intermediate to advanced experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair. HVAC & CFC certifications are a plus! Experience with split system HVAC units is highly desired.

This position is responsible for all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance. In addition to technical maintenance tickets, this position will assist with unit turnovers and be part of the after-hours on-call rotation.

• Energetic, self-motivated individual who is able to work as a team
• Intermediate to advanced experience with apartment maintenance; appliance troubleshooting, drywall, and painting
• HVAC/CFC Certification is preferred
• Experience with split system HVAC units is highly desired.
• Must be able to understand and oversee work performed by contractors
• Must have a pleasant and professional demeanor at all times
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work and respond to on-call emergencies
• The ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation
