Job Details

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment in our facility. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be required to perform predictive and preventative maintenance on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing/Food Based environment and possess a strong mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance to avoid breakdowns

and downtime.

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems with machinery and equipment, and repair or replace defective parts as necessary.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to develop and implement maintenance strategies that will improve the overall efficiency and

reliability of our equipment.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing/Food Based environment, with a strong mechanical knowledge.
Experience with predictive and preventative maintenance techniques.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems with machinery and equipment.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergency repairs.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship training preferred.
