About the Job
MGS has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our MGS Richfield team.
As a Maintenance Manager at MGS, you will be responsible for maintaining the operations of the building by overseeing equipment, providing supervision to the maintenance team, performing routine maintenance and repairs to machinery, and coordinating preventative maintenance at the MGS Richfield Manufacturing.

Below are additional duties and responsibilities:
- Supervises and coordinates the work of employees who repair and maintain equipment.
- Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product.
- May be involved in new construction or modification of existing properties.
- May be required to meet certain certifications in field.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Oversees personnel in charge of maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding various production machines and equipment.
- Responsible for supervising the maintenance and repair of pumps, grinders, mixers, and a variety of other machines.
- Oversees the setup and use of tools and equipment before production use in order to ensure the optimum level of safety.
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems with ability to diagnose issues and formulate solution.
- Responsible for performance evaluations, training, and development for the production department.
- Any other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
A qualified Maintenance Manager candidate would fulfill these requirements:
- Completion of an accredited two-year technical college program, in a related field of study, a four-year university program, in a related field of study
- 5-7 years related experience or accrued on-the-job training and experience.
- Ability to perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- LOTO and Forklift certification required.
- Understanding of basic hydraulic and electrical systems along with proper safety issues.
- Understanding of electrical and hydraulic prints.
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings.
- Understand and utilize general safety knowledge within the work environment.
