We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Permanent Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our equipment and systems. This position requires a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, PLC Programming, Hydraulic Systems, Electrical Systems, and Troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all maintenance activities within the manufacturing facility to ensure the reliability and efficiency of all equipment and systems.
2. Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
3. Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure the seamless operation of automated equipment.
4. Maintain and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, diagnosing faults and implementing solutions to prevent future issues.
5. Develop and implement a proactive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and improve the longevity of equipment.
6. Coordinate with other department heads to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
7. Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
9. Manage the maintenance budget, making cost-effective decisions regarding equipment repair and replacement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, PLC Programming, Hydraulic Systems, Electrical Systems, and Troubleshooting.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
6. Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and work with complex machinery and systems.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
9. Knowledge of health and safety regulations within the manufacturing industry.
10. Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
