Maintenance Manager / Process Engineer - Target Staffing Client

THIS IS A FULL-TIME DIRECT-HIRE POSITION

Overview:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with pasta manufacturing equipment, as well as hands-on expertise in the production of pasta-related products. They must possess a proven track record in reducing downtime through strategic preventive maintenance planning and execution.

Key Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all maintenance activities across one or more manufacturing sites, ensuring optimal equipment and facility performance.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment, including specialized machinery
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of equipment and processes related to pasta product production to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Lead, train, and mentor the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, including cost analysis for repairs, replacements, and new investments.
• Work closely with production, quality assurance, and other departments to align maintenance efforts with operational goals.

Key Process Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Machine Run Rates and Performance Optimization:

• Analyze machine performance data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize machine utilization and improve run rates.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is operating at peak performance and perform troubleshooting as needed.
• Conduct regular reviews of machine settings and parameters to maintain optimal operation.

2. Production Efficiency:

• · Evaluate and refine manufacturing processes to enhance overall productivity.
• · Monitor production metrics, including output rates, downtime, and yield, and implement improvements based on data insights.
• Drive initiatives to reduce waste and improve product consistency.

3. Process Improvement and Innovation:

• Lead efforts to design, test, and implement innovative process improvements.
• Identify and execute opportunities to enhance machine reliability through equipment upgrades or modifications.
• Document update processes and ensure operators are trained on changes.
