Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance of the Lyndhurst facility, including building, infrastructure, and equipment.
- Develop and implement a strong Preventive Maintenance system, actively monitor work performed, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Manage and optimize the Maintenance department, including workforce, labor, and materials.
- Facilitate, coach, and train manufacturing teams to ensure proper equipment maintenance.
- Enforce company policies regarding Safety, Purchasing, Regulatory compliance, and Labor Relations.
- Coordinate responsibility for achieving and maintaining ISO14000, RC9001, QS9000, and TS16949 certifications in engineering, maintenance, and process areas.
- Establish goals and performance standards for personnel, providing training and professional development.
- Support manufacturing operations with review of technical and business issues.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical); advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years' experience in chemical and industrial environments, including project management
- Excellent communication and employee relations skills at all levels
- Knowledge of chemical industry, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong technical understanding, analysis, and problem-solving skills
