Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our food production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, a solid understanding of food safety regulations, and the ability to manage a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Team Management: Manage a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.
• Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve operational efficiency.
• Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of plant utilities, along with building and grounds.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the food production industry.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• HACCP certification required.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
• Exposure to loud noise levels.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced food production environment.
• Exposure to varying temperature and humidity conditions.
