Job Details
We are a leader in high-quality plastic machining and fabrication, seeking 2 skilled & detail-oriented Machinists specializing in milling to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to ensuring the precision and quality of our custom plastic components for a variety of industries.
Hours: Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 4:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines with precision and efficiency.
Work with various CNC controls and demonstrate expertise in programming and troubleshooting.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to produce high-quality components.
Perform regular machine maintenance and ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Monitor machining processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in CNC programming and operation with a focus on milling.
Familiarity with a variety of CNC machine controls (e.g., FANUC, Siemens, Haas, etc.).
Strong knowledge of machining plastics; experience with plastic materials is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience with turning is a plus but not required for this milling-focused role.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Preferred Experience:
Background in machining or fabricating components for industries such as medical, aerospace, or electronics.
Knowledge of material properties and machining characteristics of different plastics.
