- Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or three or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete routine documentation. Ability to speak clearly and effectively with Managers, Supervisors and Coworkers.
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Syteline Manufacturing software.
- Previous experience with Aida, Maypress, National, Clearing preferred.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

This position sets up and operates or sets up for other operators all types and sizes of forming presses (60 to 700 ton).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assembles and adjusts die set by selecting proper tooling and tests to assure proper clearance.
- Sets up according to work order and layouts to insure proper form configuration.
- Uses precision measuring instruments and reads blueprints to check parts for conformance to specifications.
- Operates machines to ensure proper functioning and releases to and instructs operators in procedures for producing parts in conformance with specifications.
- Performs other related tasks in departments to which assigned such as: Assembling, drilling, deburring, sorting, counting, etching, stamping, recording of parts processed and housekeeping
- Reads blueprints and has knowledge to use micrometers, calipers, comparators, thread gauges, depth micrometers and dial indicators as needed.
- S.P.C. charting as required
- Assist factory supervision and leaders in the training of machine operators.
- Parts to be lifted and/or transported may weigh up to 30 lbs.
- Keeps work area clean, safe and in an orderly fashion on a daily basis.
- Performs other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required.
