Job Contract 10 Months on W2 Temp-to-hire
Flexographic Print Operator Senior *This is a 1st shift position: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm with overtime availability
Day Shift: Hours are M-F 5am-3pm currently, OT as needed (weekend work)
Senior Process Operator is responsible for multi-machine operations, including Mark Andy and Gallus printing presses, slitting equipment, blister machine, and label applicator.
They would primarily be running our label applicator, Mactec blister machine,e and our R160 Gallus

The Senior Flexographic Printing Operator is responsible for multi machine operation including Mark Andy and Gallus printing presses, slitting equipment, blister machine,e and label applicator.
Responsibilities:
Work independently to operate and monitor machines used in the production of Temptime product
Perform setup, testing, and assembly of products using equipment as specified
Effectively plans and utilizes time and resources to meet business needs and achieve business objectives
Inspects product for defects identifies and properly marks any non-conforming material under work instructions
Ensure product assembly meets production requirements (both quality and quantity)
Proper identification and physical movement of raw, in-process, and finished goods materials to and from storage locations
Perform material transactions in ERP of raw, processed, and finished goods materials used in production processes
Work with outside vendors for the purchase of operating supplies
Maintain inventory of operating supplies including screens, plates, and other pre-press supplies
Maintains and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures
Maintains work area organization and documentation to satisfy ISO and GMP standards
Maintains good communication and working relationships with all departments and effectively functions within a team environment
Exhibits professional etiquette that exemplifies the values of the organization
Support Research and Development activities, including participation in product/process development trials, carrying out new types of raw material and product characterization/performance testing, and use of experimental materials
Attendance at the worksite is required on a regular and ongoing basis
Supports training for new hires
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
At least 2 years of experience
Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge of light equipment operation in performing job responsibilities (such as: Forklift, Pallet Jack).
Key Skills and Competencies:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance work instructions, procedure manuals, and MSDS sheets.
Must have sufficient English reading, writing,g and speaking skills to review work instructions and communicate effectively throughout the organization.
Must be able to perform basic arithmetic using units of measure, whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and convert measurement units to/from Imperial to Metric.
Ability to maintain quality and safety control standards.
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects.
Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
Must be familiar with and be able to communicate via e-mail. Must be familiar with and be able to use computer software including word processing and spreadsheets (Microsoft products preferred).
