Machine Operator - SURESTAFF

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Machine Operator and a Warehouse Lead for a large distribution center located in Grapevine, TX  The Warehouse Lead Machine Operator  will supervise daily operations of the warehouse including receiving incoming shipments, sorting & transferring materials, and preparing shipments for outbound delivery.    The successful applicant will maintain display high levels of professionalism, lead and develop a team of warehouse associates, and maintain constant communication with warehouse leadership at all times.   The Warehouse Lead will be required to meet key performance metrics as well as manage team to hit KPIs.   This person will work together with other departments and management to maximize productivity in the facility, ensure associates receive proper training and mentorship, and manage hiring/scheduling to ensure that team is properly staffed at all times.  SURESTAFF is invested in their team members!  All temp-to hire employees are offered competitive compensation for Lead Machine Operator  $22- 23 Machine Operator 1st shift $18 HR 2nd shift $ 19 HR  HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).   Available shifts include Night Shift 6:45pm-7am MUST TRAIN ON 1ST  FIRST 6:45 AM- 7 PM   Responsibilities of the Warehouse Lead:  

• Machine operation
• Production reporting (Production downtimes/losses)
• Assist Team Leads in preventative and reactive maintenance of equipment
• Quality Management – accurate recording of samples
• Learn the plastic blow moulding trade and stand in for team leader in their absence
• Maintaining Food hygiene standards – Housekeeping
• Tool change (Mould and Neck)
• Complete daily routine work as listed
• Provide coverage for other shifts as and when required

 Preferred Qualifications of the Warehouse Lead:  

• Required good mechanical aptitude skills
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Must be able to demonstrate a good “hands on” working approach
• Have the proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast, active environment
• Must be able to provide externally recognized levels of competence that are consistent with the role
• Ability to sit, climb, stand, crawl, bend and walk on a varying basis throughout assigned work schedule
• Ability to carry and/or lift up to 50 pounds
• Forklift Experience
