Undergraduate Internship Program Overview-
Summer 2025, June to August, Undergraduate internship, within a functional area of MKS Instruments that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.
40 hours a week for the Summer 2025
Meaningful work and project assignments, such as: testing motion control products, etc., in a research lab, and working with controllers- putting electrical and mechanical pieces together, etc.
Networking opportunities with peers and executives
Exposure to different divisions of the business

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Associate Internal Auditor Intern at MKS Internal Audit, you will partner with the Sox team to provide value-add internal audit services to help MKS management to achieve its goals and objectives. In this role, you will report to the Internal Audit Manager.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Working with IA team member to prepare PBC requests to process owners
Make sample selections to ensure the completeness of test documents
Help with scheduling internal and external meetings to perform walkthroughs, discussion with process owners, collaboration with external auditors, etc.
Perform SOX control testing, and prepare test documents and draft test results
Assist with IA team member in power point presentation
Assist with data analysis using Microsoft tools such as Excel, Visio etc.
Perform other adhoc projects as needs arise
Travel Requirements: No travel is required.
Skills You Bring:
Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Accounting, Finance or relevant majors
40 hrs a week, for Summer 2025.
Experience with Microsoft Office 360 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills to manage relationships with different stakeholders (Internal Audit, Management, External Auditors)
Superb organization skills to prioritize multiple tasks and working with people from different time zones
Preferred Skills:
Accounting Knowledge (Expected to have taking basic accounting courses in College, or have equivalent knowledge)
Oracle or SAP skills is desirable
IT System Knowledge (Basic understanding of how ERP system work to support accounting activities)
SEC requirements (Basic understanding of a US public traded company's compliance requirements)
US GAAP knowledge desirable
Required to work Onsite at MKS on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Pay Range: up to $25.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours
per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued biweekly basis.
