About the Job
The Center for Health Data Science (CHDS) at Boston University School of Public Health is seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to lead our communications and marketing efforts. This individual will be responsible for increasing the visibility and awareness of CHDS both within the BU community and with external partners. The ideal candidate will develop comprehensive communication plans, manage content creation, build relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. This role requires a creative individual with experience in branding, content management, digital marketing, and public relations.

Required Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a combination thereof.
- Proven experience developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing social media, and creating digital content.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Experience with website management, including content management systems (CMS).
- Proficiency in using analytics tools to track digital engagement and optimize marketing strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, including academic, governmental, and industry partners.
- Knowledge of branding and design, with the ability to align with organizational guidelines.
