Responsibilities:- Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement as well as standard work procedures.
- Supervises maintenance personnel in maintaining machines and equipment.
- Plans and maintains maintenance schedules along with day to day breakdown repair management.
- Provides technical advice and training to production and maintenance personnel.
- Participates in recommending purchase of new capital equipment, plant layout, production methods, material handling, and parts inventory.
- Manages the installation of new and used equipment.
- Coordinates with ISO standards for preventative machine maintenance and complies with documented procedures.
- Coordinates new automation equipment with production personnel.
- Arranges and coordinates outside contractors.
- Manages the upkeep of recommended building and ground repairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Able to be a working Supervisor to contribute to the success of the plant production.
- High School Diploma plus 5+years on-the-job training or technical training in mechanical and electrical fields.
- Ability to read all types of drawings.
- Good troubleshooter and able to use multimeter to diagnose electrical issues.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Able to stand or walk entirety of shift.
- Works in manufacturing and/or office environment as well as outdoors in all temperatures.
