Job Summary:
As a Regional Account Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our business development strategies and client relationships. This role is critical in maintaining strong relationships with clients, managing their accounts effectively, and identifying new opportunities to deliver data and software solutions to senior clinical and executive teams in the pharmaceutical industry. Your efforts will directly contribute to client success and the growth of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their main point of contact for account management and support.
· Identify and research potential business opportunities within your region to expand account reach and client engagement.
· Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales and business growth targets.
· Present Taimei’s data and software solutions to senior executives in top pharmaceutical companies, tailoring proposals to meet client needs.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with client objectives and support seamless project delivery.
· Monitor industry trends and client-specific challenges in drug development to proactively address client needs and identify new opportunities.
· Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to drive account performance and optimize strategies.
· Manage a 50% travel schedule to meet with clients and stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration.
Requirements:
Preferably 2-3 years of experience in life sciences or healthcare technology sales, with a focus on account management and selling data or software solutions to pharmaceutical companies.
Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field is required.
Strong understanding of multi-decision-maker transaction dynamics and account management best practices.
Familiarity with the drug development lifecycle and commercialization challenges in the life sciences sector.
Client-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving and proactive relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and influence stakeholders.
Experience with tracking and analyzing metrics, KPIs, and using data-driven insights to improve account performance.
Cross-cultural agility to collaborate with diverse global teams and stakeholders across time zones.
