Low Voltage Licensed Technician - Essential Network Technologies

Client is seeking experienced structured cable/low voltage technicians skilled in the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cable systems. The ideal candidate should be licensed by St. Louis County to pull low voltage permits.

Responsibilities

• CAT5e and CAT6 copper solution installation and Termination.

• Fiber optic cable installation and termination.

• Accurately testing copper and fiber optic cables to industry standard utilizing appropriate test equipment.

• Troubleshooting and repairing copper and fiber optic cables.

• Installing and troubleshooting IP camera and door access controls

• Follow Job site Rules and Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience installing copper and fiber optic structured cabling systems.

• Ability to work extended hours (overtime) if needed

• Reliable daily travel to work-sites

• Must be able to work safely following company policy/procedures on safety

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds as necessary

• Ability to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and work in aerial lifts.

• Comfortable with, and capable of, working in construction environments.

• This position does not include take-home vehicles.

• Ability to pull low-voltage permits in the city of St. Louis
