About the Job
Job Role:
As a Low Voltage Technician with DRIG, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting and repairing aftermarket electronic systems such as GPS trackers and cameras in fleet vehicles (Cars, trucks, heavy machinery). This is 1099 contract work and requires professionalism, quality, and consistency on every job. You will be traveling to different job locations, providing a strong commitment to technical precision and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure a range of aftermarket electronics, including GPS trackers, cameras, remote starts, etc.
- Complete projects ensuring customer satisfaction and a smooth process from start to finish.
- Maintain accurate records of completed installations, ensuring each job meets DRIG’s quality standards and customer requirements.
- Work with DRIG’s Quality Control (QC) team during the first 30 days to ensure alignment with DRIG standards and to receive guidance on complex jobs.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience on every job.
- Use DRIG’s intuitive management system to review job details and manage job-related documentation.
- Travel locally or out of area as required, with all long-distance travel arrangements made by DRIG’s travel department.

- Ensure Installation Quality: Deliver flawless installations that meet DRIG’s standards, maintain customer satisfaction, and reduce the need for follow-up visits.
- Maximize Efficiency and Productivity: Consistently complete scheduled jobs within allotted timeframes, optimizing travel and work schedules to meet or exceed expected earnings.
- Deliver Outstanding Customer Service: Foster positive customer relationships, while maintaining DRIG’s reputation for quality and reliability.
- Uphold Compliance and Standards: Adhere to all customers and DRIG safety, quality, and compliance standards, ensuring projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Experience with aftermarket electronics installations (GPS trackers, cameras, remote starts, alarms, audio/video, etc.), in vehicles.
- Reliable vehicle and 12-volt tools.
- Excellent customer service skills.
