THE JOB:

As a Lounge Server at Luxor, you will be the face of exceptional guest service, ensuring each guest enjoys a welcoming and memorable experience. You will be responsible for expediting guests' drink orders, promoting specials, upselling beverages, and maintaining your service area to the highest standards. Your positive interaction with guests, VIPs, and colleagues will help create WOW moments throughout their stay.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.0487

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greet guests with a friendly and positive demeanor, making them feel welcome.
• Serve drinks while promoting daily specials and upselling options.
• Clear and sanitize tables, ensuring quick turnover and availability for the next group.
• Stock service areas with essentials such as straws, napkins, and glassware.
• Communicate orders to the bartender through the system and ensure accuracy.
• Knowledge of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including the appropriate glassware and garnishes.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized lounge environment and adhere to health and safety standards.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Enjoys interacting with guests and delivering excellent service.
• Comfortable with promoting specials and upselling to enhance the guest experience.
• Possesses knowledge of liquor brands, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Understands basic service techniques, including clearing tables and replenishing stock.
• Comfortable with computer touch screens and prefers experience using POS systems.
• Flexible, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced lounge environment.
