As the Loss Prevention Manager you would oversee all aspects of safety, security, and shrink mitigation within our Distribution Center. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to reduce risk, protect assets, ensure employee safety, and foster a culture of accountability and awareness. This role will collaborate closely with leadership teams, employees, and third-party security vendors to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Do:
- Safety Management
- Develop and monitor safety programs to ensure a secure work environment.
- Conduct safety audits, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations and partner with HR and Operations on safety training.
- Loss Prevention & Asset Protection
- Create strategies to prevent theft, fraud, and inventory shrinkage.
- Investigate security incidents with confidentiality and analyze loss data for improvements.
- Collaborate with Operations to enhance inventory accuracy and safeguard high-risk items.
- Security Oversight
- Manage third-party security services and maintain security systems.
- Establish emergency response protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Hire and lead a team, promoting safety awareness and accountability.
- Liaise with law enforcement and build partnerships with Operations and HR.
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years in loss prevention, safety management, or asset protection, preferably within a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years in a leadership role involving talent assessment, team development, and building high-performing teams.
- WZ (Wicklander-Zulawski) Certified2+ years in a leadership role involving talent assessment, team development, and building high-performing teams.
