We are seeking candidates for a Logistics Manager position with a rapidly growing HVAC manufacturer located in New York, NY. This position will manage the end-to-end logistics of shipping approximately 250 containers annually from their manufacturing facilities in Italy to customers in the USA and Canada. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of logistics management experience with previously international logistics or freight coordination experience.
This is a direct hire position that will pay a base salary of $100-$130k (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the shipping of approximately 250 containers annually from Europe to the USA and Canada, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate the movement of equipment, some weighing up to 30,000 lbs, via ground transport to end customers.
- Maintain effective communication between the factory, freight forwarders, transport companies, and customers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
- Ensure all shipments comply with international shipping regulations and customs requirements for both Italy and North America.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery performance.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely availability of products and manage warehouse operations as needed.
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation and provide regular reports on logistics performance and KPIs.
- Address and resolve any logistical issues, delays, or discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, transport companies, and other logistics service providers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably with international shipping and heavy equipment handling.
- Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
