Job DescriptionBryceTech is seeking an experienced Logistics Management Specialist to join our team and support our Federal Government Customer. The Logistics Management Specialist will provide support to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Professional Technical and Medical Staffing Support Services to provide logistics, management, analytic and procurement staffing support services to HHS-Coordination Operations and Response Element (H-CORE) Support Services.
The Logistics Management Specialist will have experience working with Senior Leadership and Federal/Civilian Agencies and or Military Services. Contract Place of Performance is customer site in Washington D.C. The position will report to the Public Health Division Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the management, oversight, and coordination of current and future operations to include all aspects of the USG COVID-19 and, as appropriate, other public health response.
- Provide data collection and analysis support to foster planning, operations, and scheduling.
- Support the aggregation of multiple data points and collate information into succinct White House-level products for senior leaders.
- Support the monitoring, tracking, operations, and situational awareness related to the ordering, distribution, and administration of federally purchased medical countermeasures and shall review utilization and ordering data to identify anomalies and work with partners to correct data.
- Collaborate with the industry partners, including 3rd party vendors, for deliveries of ancillary supplies such as needles, syringes, and other materials required for successful administration of COVID-19 and, as appropriate, other vaccine and therapeutics.
- Monitor and track ordering, including production of ordering briefing materials to help stakeholders and leadership understand the ordering process and status of ordering.
- Collaborate with administration sites, Regional Teams, and other stakeholders to ensure they understand federal ordering guidelines, know how to access product.
- Collaborate with acquisition and distribution teams to produce and analyze ordering and utilization briefing products and supply data to help stakeholders and leadership understand the ordering process and status of ordering, and support decision-making.
- Build, maintain, and coordinate collaboration between H-CORE and interagency, intergovernmental, Private, Non-Profit, State, Local, and Tribal partners, and organizations to provide actionable information and knowledge to support leadership decisions and avoid duplication of efforts.
- Draft responses to requests for information (RFIs) from Regional Teams, external affairs, and others about the ordering process.
- Coordinate with distributors to understand their status, concerns, and potential ways to improve the process.
- Assist new sites with navigating the registration process.
- Assist in the development and editing of various documents, including meeting summaries, and briefing materials.
- Prior Government Service experience with Federal, DoD and/or Civilian Agencies' Public Health markets.
Required Skills:
- Must be able to obtain Tier II Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with at least five (5) years of experience in related logistics and operations career field.
- Experience guiding and tracking execution of multiple planning lines of effort.
- Experience in assisting with coordinating collaborations with other federal government agencies, industry, and international organizations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills (e.g., time management, communication, setting goals, delegation, working under pressure, self-motivation, analytical thinking and problem-solving, and attention to detail).
- Demonstrated ability to convey complex information to senior leaders in both virtual and in-person meetings/environments.
- Knowledge of logistics/supply chain management, optimization, and effectiveness.
- Knowledge and experience with logistics operations.
- Proficiency in deliberate and crisis action planning initiatives.
- Desirable: Demonstrated Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills.
- Desirable: PMP and PMO experience
- Desirable: Experience working with government institutions in support of logistics efforts.
- Desirable: Masters or advanced degree in a related field.
- Desirable: Knowledge of requirements for Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II certification or similar federal acquisition certifications.
