Summary of Responsibilities:
The Logistics Crew is primarily responsible for maintaining the safety, organization, and efficient operation of the loading dock and storage areas. This position will support the Logistics Supervisor and Logistics Assistants in continued smooth operation of mail and package screening, sorting, distribution and maintaining inventory control. Logistics Crew Members will also be responsible for setting up, breaking down and supporting all Special Events at Busch Stadium as well as support Baseball Games. Candidates for this position must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Duties:
- Safely and securely move furniture, set up tables and chairs, stanchions, bike racks and other items as needed.
- Receive, log, and deliver all incoming and outgoing mail, packages and items from storage while adhering to SAFETY Act standards.
- Interact with internal stakeholders such as our janitorial, maintenance, concessions, merchandise and front office.
- Manage and organize storage space.
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 0-1+ years of experience working on a loading dock
- 0-1+ years of experience driving a forklift
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs
- Ability to work while standing for extended periods of time
Education and Experience Preferred:
- Associate's degree in security operations, facilities management/operations, or related field; or combination of years of experience and education
- 1-2+ years of vocational or technical training after high school
- 2+ years of experience working on a loading dock
- 1-2+ years of experience driving a forklift
- Ability to follow an event order layout
