SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to assist with all aspects of production, warehousing, shipping, and material handling for the AN/WSN-9 DHYSL, AN/WSN-11 Master Compass, and other speed sensor programs.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
· Monitor material requirements and track movement with purchasing, production, and warehouses in accordance with defined priorities.
· Estimate and proactively manage project-related workload requirements.
· Establish location and quantity control.
· Coordinate the transfer of material, parts, and finished products between the source and the final destination.
· Carry out disposition instructions based upon direction from the project manager or logistics analyst and/or the customer.
· Research various databases to establish material retrieval locations, material sources, and disposition.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.
· Six (6)+ years of experience in logistical tracking, reporting, record keeping, warehousing, material transfer, issuance, and disposition of government and/or commercial property.
· Five (5) years of experience, to include:
o Supervisory or warehouse lead at a Department of Defense (DoD) facility
o Financial management
o Logistics support for projects involving electronic/electrical repair and installation, ordering, acquisition, distribution of material, equipment and resources
· Five (5)+ years of supporting government property requirements and/or defense life-cycle material management.
