Logistics Specialist (Korean Speaking)

The main function of a logistics specialist is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical logistics specialist is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules, and compiling reports on inventory levels / cost, etc.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect data and documents to support department projects/activities.
• Examine documents, materials, and data to assess conformation to standards.
• Coordinate and execute special projects and ancillary services.
• Work in a continuous improvement spirit across a highly matrix working environment.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

• Industry Knowledge (Consumer Electronics, e-commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics)
• Advanced MS Excel / Data Analytic Skills
• Detail Oriented
• Bilingual: Korean Speaking

SKILLS:

• Typically has general knowledge of logistics operations related to employee's specific area of work and limited knowledge of overall logistics operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication. A collaborative team player.
• Highly proficient with computer applications, such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
• High level of accuracy and efficiency. Detail Oriented. Works on problems of limited and routine scope where limited analysis of data requires identification of predetermined solutions.
• The ability to read, interpret, and understand product shipment information from various order and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and thorough preparation of transportation documents.
• Exercises judgment within defined practices and policies in the selection of methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Works on problems of limited and routine scope where limited analysis of data requires identification of predetermined solutions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors or equivalent degree of experience.
• +/- 2 years related experience required.

Location: Santa Ana, CA | Fully Onsite (M to F - 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM)

Duration: 8+ month W2 contract

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
