Logistic Coordinator - Spherion

We are seeking for a highly motivated Logistics Coordinator is needed for a full-time, temporary-to-permanent role based in Carson, CA. This position plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Center, supporting logistics functions such as shipment updates, inventory management, and vendor communications. The Logistics Coordinator will ensure the accuracy of shipment documentation, address delays or inventory issues, and contribute to maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
Manage the advances shipping notice approval process, ensuring all shipment documentation is accurate and complete.
Maintain updated data in the ERP system in collaboration with the production team.
Support logistics for Third-Party Partner and Vendor shipments.
Oversee the bulk production receiving process, verifying inventory counts, coordinating approvals, and reporting QC findings.
Issue and document credit memos and chargebacks.
Verify and submit vendor shipping documents to the Accounting Department to ensure timely payments.
Perform receiving functions and assist with other logistics duties as assigned.

Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency.
Experience with ERP systems
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excel experience is preferred
Flexible and team-oriented mindset.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Ability to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodation.
Periods of sitting, standing, and walking during the workday.
Capability to lift/move objects up to 25 lbs.
Proficiency in operating standard office equipment (computers, phones, etc.).
