We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join our fast-paced legal team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the legal field and has a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be instrumental in assisting our attorneys in managing their calendars, coordinating billing, preparing and updating case status reports for clients and attorneys, and performing legal research. This role requires a high level of organization, the ability to multitask, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and deadlines.
2. Coordinate billing activities to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
3. Prepare and update case status reports for clients and attorneys regularly.
4. Prepare folders and necessary documents for paralegals and attorneys.
5. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring important documents are received and sent in a timely manner.
6. Conduct legal research as required by the attorneys.
7. Utilize legal software for case management and document review.
8. Provide litigation support to attorneys throughout the case lifecycle.
9. Review and manage legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal procedures.
10. Draft and manage legal correspondence, ensuring effective communication between the legal team, clients, and other parties.
11. Act as a heavy scheduler, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant or similar role in the legal industry.
2. Proficiency in legal software and tools for case management and document review.
3. Exceptional skills in scheduling and calendar management.
4. Strong knowledge of legal research methods and legal procedures.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting and managing legal correspondence.
6. High level of organization and attention to detail.
7. Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of work under pressure.
8. Strong work ethic, with a commitment to professionalism and confidentiality.
9. Proven experience in litigation support and document review.
10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
11. A degree in law or related field is preferred.
