Litigation Associate (Hybrid) - Zerega Consulting

Our client, an AmLaw 200 law firm with a global presence, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their Litigation Practice Groupin Phoenix or Scottsdale, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of complex litigation cases across a myriad of industries. Our client offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive legal research associated with cases, as well as draft legal documents such as briefs, pleadings and discovery requests.
• Communicate with clients, partners and other members of the practice group regarding case developments.
• Prepare for trial and manage cases from in-take to resolution.
• Conduct and defend depositions, as well as appear at court hearings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial or business litigation experience.
• Experience drafting motions, conducting and defending depositions.
• Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-starter.
• Must be licensed to practice in Arizona.
• Must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent academic credentials.
