Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year

We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in handling all aspects of civil defense, including experience with drafting discovery, attending depositions, hearings and trials, research, and writing.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
1. Handling all aspects of litigation, from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
2. Representing clients in court hearings and trials, and effectively advocating for their interests.
3. Conducting extensive legal research to support case strategies, and staying abreast of current legal trends and developments.
4. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective handling of cases.
5. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in personal injury cases.
6. Providing clear and concise legal advice to clients, and keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
7. Maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with a focus on civil defense preferred
4. Proven experience in hearings, trials, legal writing, and research.
5. Exceptional negotiation skills, with a track record of successful settlement negotiations.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively advocate for clients in court.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage a high volume of cases with competing deadlines.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
10. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
