Project Coordinator - BCS

BCS has an immediate opening for Project Controller to join our growing team supporting the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL).

This is a hybrid position located in Morgantown, WV or Pittsburgh, PA. 

The Project Controller works directly with project managers to help define the project's goals and objectives; create and maintain a project's budget and schedule, analyze progress reported against the work schedules; and recommend actions to improve progress.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, understanding, and communicating financial and schedule data
• Cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ability to analyze financial aspects; including, but not limited to, project costs, revenue recognition, funds expiration, and risk management
• Subcontract initiation and management (including funding and invoice review)
• Funding, cost, and status tracking and reporting
• Document financial management processes
• Financial status reporting

• U.S. citizenship
• Bachelor's Degree
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting
• Government experience preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to respond to quick turn around requests
• Highly organized
• Cognos capabilities are a plus
