We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Branch Manager for our Lincoln, Nebraska location. - Responsible for employee safety, including compliance with federal, state or local regulations for branch location and daily operations. {DOT, EPA, OSHA, Etc.}
- Review, understand and analyze monthly branch profit and loss statements {P&L}. As the profit and loss statement projects the overall success or failure of the branch operation. The manager is expected to obtain the best purchase price while still keeping low inventory. Purchase orders must be issued for any and all purchases.
- Develops and maintains strong communications with customers for continued service success. Makes sure contract and reservation paperwork is completed properly and adequately. Keeps management informed of issues and actions taken to improve issues with a sense of urgency.
- Develops and maintains a maintenance program for all service and delivery equipment incoming and outgoing. Conducts monthly employee safety meetings to address any issues or concerns.
- The manager must delegate work and monitor efficiency of work to employees. Works effectively with employees to train and improve their skills and address any areas that need improvement or correction and provide documentation towards these efforts.
- Has ability to work with challenging timelines and schedules. Communicates with all locations in logistics of providing equipment to any location as available. Maintains equipment to safe and rentable conditions. PDI, Ready to Rent, Inspections and all aspects of taking care of fleet delivery and rental equipment, must be flexible in these areas.
- Follows company procedures and policies in AR, AP, Credit, HR Safety, Purchasing and Billing, etc. As well as complying with the company handbook for employees. Procedures and policies must be maintained in the company provided binder. Manager is responsible for training employees as necessary to comply with these policies and procedures safely and properly.
- Maintains employment levels to maintain an acceptable payroll level with work hours and overtime. Conducts reviews and performance evaluations as necessary to maintain operations.
- Has broad knowledge of Duke Rentals equipment and the capabilities of the equipment.
- Performs other duties as necessary and required by company officials.
Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- CDL preferred but not required.
- 3-5 years of management experience preferred, ideally in rental equipment, logistics, construction, or a related industry.
Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
Skills: Proven ability in operations management, customer service, team leadership, and achieving financial targets.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of equipment rental or related industry; ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and operational standards.
Other: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Work Conditions (not limited to);
- Noise, trip hazards, fall hazards, various chemicals such as, but not limited to, battery acid, grease, natural de-greaser, etc.
- Hot, humid, or cold climates
- Requires lifting of parts, tools, etc. that may occasionally weigh 100 lbs.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 7 AM to 5 PM (May require you to be there additional hours depending on the work load)
- Ability to commute/relocate - Lincoln, NE
