Job Title: Full-Time Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC/LCSW/LMSW) Near Lubbock, TX (New Mexico Side)
Job Description: Connected Health Care is currently partnering with a healthcare provider near Lubbock, TX, on the New Mexico side, to find a Full-Time Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to patients with mental health and behavioral concerns.
- Assess patients mental health status, history, and needs in order to develop effective treatment plans.
- Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress or emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families, offering tools for managing mental health conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Participate in regular supervision and continuing education to stay updated with best practices and new treatments.
- Foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment to encourage client growth and healing.
- Adhere to all professional and ethical standards in the provision of counseling services.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current LPCC, LCSW, or LMSW licensure in the state of New Mexico (or Texas if applicable).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or the ability to obtain certification shortly after employment.
- Experience in providing counseling or therapeutic services is preferred but not requirednew graduates welcome.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
