We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Pre-Licensed Professional Counselor to join our dynamic team at Mental Health Advocates. If you are a Resident In Counseling looking to earn your 3600 hours towards licensure, Mental Health Advocates wants to help you advance your career while you help us help our community. This position is virtual and remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while providing essential mental health services to our clients.

Job Expectations:

• Provide compassionate individual and group therapy sessions to clients
• Offer comprehensive psychoeducation to clients and their families
• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans
• Utilize evidence-based trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to support clients in processing and overcoming traumatic experiences
• Engage in behavioral therapy interventions and lead group counseling sessions to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals
• Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health counseling
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
