Our facility specializes in Business Aviation, focusing on 22 models of aircraft on the Airframe side while our Engine Shop performs comprehensive overhauls on Honeywell HTF7000 and TFE731 engines, APUs, and performs diagnostics in our state-of-the-art Test Cell.
As a Licensed A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and major inspections on corporate aircraft. Your technical skills will be critical in troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying various aircraft components, ensuring safety and performance. Our teams specialize across Textron (Hawker), Embraer (Legacy / Praetor / Phenom), Bombardier (Learjet /Challenger), Dassault (Falcon).
What You Will Do:
- Conduct operational checks and engine runs to ensure airworthiness prior to departure.
- Inspect aircraft per OEM Light or Heavy Maintenance Manuals.
- Evaluate removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot and repair airframe systems including hydraulics, landing gear, and more.
- Interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Analyze mechanical problems to determine the best repair methods.
- Test, repair, and adjust engines, engine controls, propellers, and flight controls.
- Check and repair fuel, oil, oxygen, heating, cooling, and pressurization systems.
- Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments effectively.
- Remove and reinstall engines from turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft.
- Make informed decisions on maintenance techniques and troubleshooting.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Availability for first or second shift, with potential for overtime and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of corporate aviation experience, particularly with Learjet, Hawker, Falcon Jet, Challenger, and/or Embraer.
- Aviation training (Military, Aeronautical Academy, Technical School, and/or an Aviation Associate’s Degree).
- Factory-authorized training on assigned aforementioned aircraft/ engines.
