Responsibilities
Manage behavioral health daily operations.
+ Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which support the strategic plan and vision.
+ Assess quality of patient care and coordinate patient care services.
+ Oversee performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
+ Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
+ Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ One or more of the following:
+ Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Psychologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.LBSI (Learning Behavior Specialist) certification also accepted in lieu of.
+ Social Worker credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
+ 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Special Education STRONGLY PREFERRED
Minimum 3 years Behavioral Health experience with focus in AUTISM or DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
Minimum 1 year prior leadership experience
Monday - Friday with 2 evenings (7:00 PM latest end time) on site
Some weekend hours for community events
