Key Responsibilities:
- Start-up and commissioning of HVAC equipment and controls.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of commercial HVAC systems (e.g., split systems, package units, roof top units, boilers, VRF and chillers) and ancillary equipment (e.g., pumps, and cooling towers).
- Repair and troubleshoot building control systems, optimizing for energy efficiency and usability.
- Perform routine maintenance and scheduled inspections on HVAC systems.
- Install, replace, or repair HVAC components, including calibrating thermostatic controls.
- Inspect and maintain refrigeration equipment, including refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps.
- Repair, replace, or install ductwork and other supporting system components.
- Collaborate with teams for large projects while also working independently when needed.
- Mentorship and training of apprentice technicians
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must hold an 07A & 06A Electrical License or obtain within 6 months of employment
- EPA Certification or obtain within 90 days of employment
- NATE certification or obtain within 90 days of employment (we are a proctor for training)
- Minimum three years of applicable HVAC experience
- Capacity to lift over 20 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Must be a team player with the ability to also work independently when required.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of technicians
