Legal Secretary - Round Hill Search

Round Hill Search is assisting a boutique law firm in San Fernando Valley, seeking a skilled Legal Secretary with 3-5 years of experience. This role is crucial in supporting a busy legal team, managing daily administrative tasks, and assisting with complex legal documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of litigation processes, excellent organizational skills, and experience in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, draft, and format legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings for filing in state and federal courts.
• Manage attorney schedules, including setting appointments, coordinating meetings, and maintaining calendars.
• Conduct initial client communications and facilitate client intake processes.
• Organize and maintain case files and legal documents in electronic and paper formats.
• Coordinate e-filing in court systems and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
• Handle attorney billing, expense reports, and other administrative duties as required.
• Assist with discovery and document production, including tracking and summarizing case documents.
• Perform basic legal research as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in litigation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, legal software, and e-filing systems.
• Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and litigation document preparation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and work under tight deadlines.
