About the Job
Key responsibilities of this position:
- Establish, organize, and maintain physical and electronic case and client files;
- Support the development and management of projects and practice group timelines;
- Coordinate communication and planning across attorney teams handling multiple client matters;
- Assist with research and compiling, drafting, proofreading, and editing various materials;
- Provide administrative support, including, but not limited to, document production, business intake materials and expense forms/paperwork;
- Communicate with government offices regarding policies and status inquiries;
- Provide support with electronic filing in a variety of courts and administrative offices;
- Draft and assist in the preparation of meeting minutes;
- Coordinate and participate in day-to-day client management;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred;
- 1+ year(s) of legal or professional services industry experience a plus;
- Independent, self-starting, and self-motivated;
- Superior written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team environment are a must;
- Exceptional organizational skills;
- Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and balance multiple tasks while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion;
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ; ability to learn law firm-specific software as needed;
