Job Details
We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join our growing team.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys and help families better their situations.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting our legal team in the preparation and filing of legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Managing the invoicing process, including the preparation, distribution, and tracking of all client invoices.
- Liaising with clients and other legal professionals to ensure timely payment of invoices and resolution of any billing inquiries or disputes.
- Providing administrative support to our legal team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing case files.
- Ensuring all legal documents and communications are proofread, formatted correctly, and comply with legal procedure.
- Assisting in the preparation and coordination of court proceedings.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience working at a law firm
- A degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field is desired.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in legal research and legal document drafting.
- Knowledge of legal procedures and terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
