Job Description

Our client is seeking a Legal Assistant to support a team of attorneys across multiple practice areas, including litigation, land use, redevelopment, and affordable housing. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Drafting, proofreading, and revising legal documents
• E-filing, redlining, and managing case files
• Coordinating attorney calendars, scheduling meetings and calls
• Processing time entries for attorneys and submitting expense reports
• Maintaining and organizing client files in NetDocs or similar document management systems
• Answering phones in a professional and timely manner
• Supporting attorneys in various legal tasks across multiple practice areas

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience supporting attorneys, preferably in litigation or land use
• Strong experience with e-filing and court document retrieval (Pacer, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, NetDocs, iTimeKeep or similar time-entry software
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• High attention to detail and ability to proofread documents
