Our client is a well-established law firm with a strong reputation in trust and probate litigation, recognized for delivering high-quality legal services. They are seeking a Probate Litigation Legal Assistant to join their Los Angeles office. This is a great opportunity for a skilled professional to advance their career while contributing to a dynamic team in a thriving legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys handling trust and probate litigation matters.
- Draft, proofread, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and other court submissions.
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring that records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, client meetings, and court appearances.
- Prepare case summaries, legal correspondence, and research findings for attorney review.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing case updates.
- Assist in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness lists.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of trust and probate litigation experience.
- Must reside or be willing to relocate to Los Angeles, California area
- Familiarity with California probate procedures and filing requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and a detail-oriented approach.
