**Key Responsibilities:**

- Scheduling and Time Management: Coordinate client meetings, hearings (in-person, via phone, or video conferencing), and maintain attorneys' calendars. You will proactively manage deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and keeping attorneys well-informed.
- Communication and Client Service: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. You will interact with clients, attorneys, and staff members, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a deep understanding of legal procedures and protocols.
- Office Operations: Contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of our legal office, working independently and collaborating with the team. Your ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure will be highly valued.
- Technology and Research: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), legal research tools, case management software (Clio experience preferred), and e-filing systems is required. Your technical expertise will streamline processes and enhance productivity.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal in a litigation firm, with prior experience in Family Law being a strong asset.
- Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is preferred but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, court rules, and family law procedures.
