Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to real estate transactions.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support ongoing cases.
- Maintain and organize legal files and documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal standards.
- Communicate with clients, agents, and external legal entities regarding case developments and documentation requirements.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates for the legal team.
- Assist in the coordination of transactions and ensure timely communication of pertinent materials.
- Stay updated on changes in real estate laws and regulations to provide accurate support.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role, preferably in a real estate or law firm setting.
- Strong understanding of real estate law, contracts, and legal procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Proficient in legal research and software applications relevant to legal practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
